Following the end of his contract with Energie Cottbus, Edgar Kaizer is set to play for Greifswalder FC in the Regionalliga Nordost. The 21-year-old central defender has committed to GFC until 2027. Trainer Markus Zschiesche noted that although Edgar is young, he is also experienced, talented, and possesses potential. He added that Kaizer's inclusion would strengthen the defense and bring stability to the team. Kaizer expressed that he has known the coach for a long time, having had good discussions in the past, which made this summer the right time for the move.
