Dušan Jovanović, an 18-year-old Serbian winger from Partizan, returned to Belgrade after only a few days in Šabac, where he was supposed to be on loan at Mačva. The Mačva coach, Nemanja Glušica, confirmed the player's departure and stated that he was unclear about why the arrangement was terminated. Glušica mentioned that Jovanović had been at the club for two training sessions and that he had received information from the club's management indicating something did not suit the player. The coach also remarked that Jovanović left without saying goodbye or notifying anyone. Partizan has registered him for the new season, but it is not clear if coach Saša Ilić will include him in the first team. Other options being considered are a new loan to another Superliga club or a dual registration with Teleoptik to gain more playing time. Jovanović, who joined Partizan in January 2026, has been capped three times for the Serbia U17 team. During the 2025/2026 season, he scored 8 goals in 47 appearances across the Kadetska and Omladinska youth leagues.
