According to a report from Sport.ro, 25-year-old Kosovar midfielder Drilon Islami has been officially presented at KF Shkendija. The club announced that Islami was signed after he terminated his contract with CFR Cluj of Romania. KF Shkendija stated that Drilon Islami, who was previously a player at Pristina, passed his medical examination and signed a two-and-a-half-season contract with the club.

CFR Cluj is ready to release Drilon Islami, a 25-year-old Kosovan midfielder who signed with the club two months ago but has not yet debuted. He was a substitute in the last championship match lost to Universitatea Craiova. Islami, who has not played any minutes for CFR Cluj, not even in friendly matches, has very slim chances of making the squad in the near future. He was transferred for free from FC Prishtina in the summer, and is valued at 600,000 euros according to Transfermarkt. His contract with the Romanian club is set to expire on June 30, 2026.
