Lommel chairman Harm van Veldhoven stated to Het Belang van Limburg that the club will make at least two more transfers for the first team and specified the need for a striker and a left-back who can make an immediate impact. In connection with these plans, 20-year-old Dutch-Ghanaian striker Don-Angelo Konadu is heading to Lommel from Ajax. Another Ajax player, Tristan Gooijer, is also heading to the club. Konadu's potential arrival would fill the vacant striker position. Konadu joined Ajax in September 2025 and is under contract until June 2028. The Netherlands U21 international has three caps and has a current market value of €800k, according to Transfermarkt.
