Sparta Prague, currently the second-placed team in the Czech Chance league and the most decorated Czech club, has expressed serious interest in signing Rijeka's Dominik Thaqi this winter. The Czech club had previously monitored another Rijeka player, Stjepan Radeljić, but has now shifted its focus to Thaqi. Thaqi is also reportedly being monitored by clubs from top world leagues. Thaqi has a valid contract with Rijeka for another two and a half years, and the club is not under pressure to sell him, having high expectations for a potential transfer fee. Another player from the same management agency, Fabian Krivak, recently transferred to a Czech club.
