According to Ivan Kmotrík Jr., the general director of ŠK Slovan Bratislava, the club received several offers for Dominik Takáč from abroad during his time at Slovan. Foreign interest in Dominik Takáč influenced the club's decision to resolve his contract situation early. The 27-year-old Slovakian goalkeeper joined the club in July 2024 and his contract is set to expire in June 2027. He has one cap for Slovakia and his current market value is €2.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
