Dominik Kother, a 26-year-old German who was recently on loan at MSV Duisburg, will not be returning to Dynamo Dresden. According to BILD, the midfielder is making a permanent move to the third-division club, where he became a key player during the second half of the season. The initial loan was agreed upon after Kother was no longer in the Dresden squad for the last four games of the first half of the season, with the aim of him getting more playing time. Dresden will receive a transfer fee for the permanent transfer, which BILD reports is expected to be in the low six-figure range. It is also customary for such deals to include an additional financial bonus in the event of promotion. Kother has made three appearances for the Germany U21 team, scoring one goal, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €500k.
