Dominik Greif leaving Mallorca?

Greif is in negotiations with other teams, indicating potential transfer moves.

Marca has reported that Olympique de Lyon is showing a keen interest in Slovak goalkeeper Dominik Greif, with preparations underway for an imminent first offer. The operation is said to be advanced, as Greif's representative has reportedly met with him to finalize an agreement. The transfer is considered beneficial for all parties involved, with Greif expected to receive an improved salary, Olympique de Lyon strengthening a weakened position, and Mallorca set to earn a substantial amount from the transfer. Greif's contract is due to expire in June, and the transfer fee is anticipated to be approximately four to five million euros.

RMC Sport reported that Lione has intensified their pursuit of Dominik Greif to replace Lucas Perri. Greif, who is currently with Maiorca, was highlighted as a key player in the previous Liga season, attracting interest from various clubs. Lione has now prioritized him as their top choice. Since Greif's contract with Maiorca is set to expire in 2026, he could potentially leave as a free agent next year if no renewal agreement is reached. Therefore, this summer represents Maiorca's final chance to profit from his transfer, prompting them to conduct evaluations and discussions with the player to gauge his intentions.

Dominik Greif, a Slovak goalkeeper, could leave Mallorca this summer for an amount close to three or four million euros. His continuity at Mallorca beyond 2026 seems practically impossible. He might be sold this summer or leave as a free agent the following year. Several domestic and foreign teams have shown interest in him, and they are expected to negotiate hard, knowing Mallorca needs to sell now to make economic sense.

Pablo Ortells met with Greif's entourage last week to offer a contract improvement to retain him amidst market threats. Many clubs are interested in Greif, awaiting his decision. Mallorca has not yet received a response from Greif's side.

Dominik Greif, the Slovak goalkeeper, has attracted attention from several clubs as his contract with Mallorca is set to expire in 2026. Although his contract still has a few years left, renewal discussions have come to a halt, and reaching an agreement appears unlikely at this moment. His standout performances this season have boosted his market value, making him a desirable target for interested clubs. According to 'El Correo de Andalucía', Betis has shown interest in Greif; however, other Spanish and international clubs are also keeping a close watch on his situation. Greif, who is currently one of the lowest-paid players on the team, is aiming for a substantial salary increase.
