Dominik Fitz, an Austrian attacking midfielder at Minnesota United in the USA, received a rejection from Violett regarding a potential move. The 27-year-old is also a target for WAC, whose coach Thomas Silberberger wants to bring him to Austria. Fitz stated that Austria would have been his number one choice for a transfer. His contract with the MLS club runs until December 2029. His Transfermarkt valuation is €1.50m. In the 2025/2026 season, he made one appearance in Major League Soccer and two in MLS Next Pro for Minnesota, following three appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga at the start of the season. Fitz has also been capped once by the Austria U21 national team.
