A 500 million ruble bid from CSKA Moscow for Akron's 18-year-old right winger, Dmitriy Pestryakov, was rejected. Insider Ivan Karpov reported the offer. Karpov also suggested that Akron might be willing to sell the player for a fee between 700 and 800 million rubles. It is also noted that Spartak may compete to sign Pestryakov, whereas the chances for Dynamo and Lokomotiv to sign him are considered low.
