Djylian N'Guessan Transfer from Saint-Étienne to Chelsea
The Evening Standard reports that Chelsea have identified Saint-Etienne winger Djylian N'Guessan as a possible signing for 2026.

According to reports in France, Chelsea have made an €8 million offer for Saint-Etienne attacker Djylian N’Guessan. L’Equipe reports that Saint-Etienne have rejected this €8m offer. Chelsea are expected to make another attempt for the player. Saint-Etienne want €12.5m and believe that interest from the Premier League will ensure they get it. Djylian N’Guessan, whose contract expires in 2027, is refusing to extend his deal with Saint-Etienne and has invited suitors to make offers. A rift described as irreparable has now opened between the player and his club.
According to L’Equipe, AS Saint-Etienne has refused an initial offer of 8 million euros from Chelsea for Djylian N’Guessan but would reconsider for 12.5 million euros. N’Guessan has refused to extend his current contract.
According to Caught Offside, Chelsea is reportedly preparing an offer for Djylian N’Guessan for the winter transfer window. The club intends to complete his transfer in January and leave him at Saint-Étienne on loan until the end of the season. A subsequent loan of one or two years to Racing Club Strasbourg is also mentioned for the Franco-Ivorian forward.
