Serbian centre-forward Đorđe Jovanović, who is 27, has returned to Čukarički on a two-year contract after terminating his agreement with Bazel on the final day of the summer transfer window. The club signed him to replace Fiorin Durmišaj, who is injured. Čukarički had been interested in Jovanović approximately ten days prior, but a deal was not possible while he was still under contract with the Swiss club. The termination of his contract caused the Serbian side to act, bringing back a player who had his most productive career period at the club.
