Djibril Sidibé: Toulouse Contract Extension
According to L'Équipe, Djibril Sidibé is set to stay at Toulouse for another season. Sidibé initially joined Toulouse FC in the summer of 2024 after leaving AEK Athens on a free transfer. His contract, originally for one year with an option to extend for an additional year, has been prolonged following his participation in 26 Ligue 1 matches. The confirmation of this extension was delayed due to the departure of President Damien Comolli. With Neil Chugani now serving as interim president, the previously verbal agreement for an extension possibly lasting until the 2026-2027 season is reportedly off the table, taking into account Sidibé's age. Despite struggling with an Achilles tendon injury throughout the season, Sidibé has brought valuable experience to the team, frequently featuring as a right center-back in a three-man defensive setup.
L'Équipe reports on Djibril Sidibé's expected contract extension with Toulouse. Djibril Sidibé is expected to extend his contract with Toulouse after playing 20 matches, which was a precondition for a new contract. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 1.20 million euros.
