Dion Lopy Transfer from Almería to Everton
Almería has turned down an offer from Everton for Dion Lopy, a 23-year-old midfielder from Senegal, as the club views him as a vital player for the upcoming season. The club indicated that Lopy is not available for transfer unless an exceptionally attractive offer is made, specifically one that surpasses 20 million euros. Almería is in a robust financial position, having already acquired 50 million euros from prior transfers, and therefore does not feel pressured to sell. Furthermore, Almería has refused two proposals from Nice, highlighting Lopy's significance to their future plans. Lopy, who transferred to Almería from Stade Reims for 6.5 million euros two years ago, is considered a crucial part of the club's goals, and with his contract extending until 2029, both the club and Lopy are satisfied with his current status. Transfermarkt estimates the player's current market value at €6.00 million.
