CSKA is preparing a transfer for Ludogorets' 30-year-old Portuguese player Dinis Almeida. Almeida's contract expires at the end of the season, which would allow him to move to CSKA as a free agent, and he is already permitted to sign a preliminary contract with the club. This is not the first time CSKA has considered signing the defender; during the winter of the 2020/21 season, he was strongly wanted by then-manager Bruno Akrapovič, who had previously worked with him at Lokomotiv (Plovdiv). However, the club's management at that time decided to sign Menno Koch instead. Almeida subsequently moved to the Belgian club Antwerp in the summer of 2021 before returning to Bulgaria with Ludogorets in January 2023. He has three caps for Portugal's U20 team and his current Transfermarkt market value is €1.00m.
