Gazzetta.gr reports that Dimitris Limnios has officially transferred to APOEL. The Cypriot club announced the acquisition of the 28-year-old attacking midfielder on its social media. Limnios will play in Cyprus.

APOEL is pursuing the transfer of Dimitris Limnios, a 28-year-old Greek international winger. After his loan to Fortuna Sittard ended, Limnios has returned to Panathinaikos, but he is not in Jacob Neestrup's plans and is looking for a new team. The new sporting director of APOEL, Zisis Vryzas, is personally handling the case and is in open communication with Panathinaikos, aiming to find a mutually agreeable solution. The case is considered difficult for the Cypriots but not prohibitive, and part of his contract will need to be covered by Panathinaikos. His contract with Panathinaikos is valid for one more year. Limnios has 26 caps and 3 goals for Greece. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.30m.
