Santos Laguna announced the signing of 23-year-old Paraguayan winger Diego González, who is joining from Atlas. The announcement also included the arrival of Eduardo "Mudo" Aguirre from the same club. That club was owned until recently by Grupo Orlegui, the group that controls Santos Laguna. González had joined Atlas on January 4, 2026. The winger has four caps for Paraguay. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €5.00m.
