Diego Coppola leaving Hellas Verona?
Brighton and Hove Albion officially announced the permanent transfer of Diego Coppola from Serie A club Hellas Verona. Coppola, a recent Italian international, signed a five-year contract lasting until the summer of 2030. Alfredo Pedullà from Football Italia revealed that Brighton agreed to pay a fee slightly less than 12 million euros for Coppola. Verona also negotiated a percentage of future sales for this promising defender, who was previously linked with Milan and Juventus earlier this season.
Diego Coppola has been announced by Brighton, a Premier League club, who have decided to strongly invest in the defender born in 2003. They have issued a payment to Hellas Verona of 11 million plus bonuses, considered as a percentage on any potential future resale.
Diego Coppola, a promising defender born in 2003, is currently under contract with Hellas Verona until June 30, 2027. With interest from bigger clubs growing, a contract adjustment might be necessary, as the last update happened two and a half years ago.
There is hope that Diego Coppola will be a starter at Hellas Verona.
Coppola may be sold if a convincing offer is received to balance the books.
Il Torino has viewed Hellas Verona defender Diego Coppola twice. He could be a replacement for Alessandro Buongiorno if he ends up in a big club. In recent weeks, Coppola has been closely followed and it is not said that it could be a negotiation independent of the future of the granata captain.
