On August 23, Shakhtar Donetsk announced that 21-year-old Bolivian defender Diego Arroyo is leaving the club on loan to play for Hapoel Petah-Tikva. The loan agreement is valid until June 30, 2027, and he will play for the club until the end of the 2026/27 season. Since joining Shakhtar in February 2025, Arroyo played two matches in the UPL and five matches at the U-19 youth level. He has also been called up to the Bolivia national team.

Shakhtar does not have plans for 20-year-old Bolivian centre-back Diego Arroyo. The club may part with up to seven players who have experienced limited playing time. Arroyo joined the club in February 2025 and has five caps for Bolivia. He has not made any appearances in the Premier Liga this season. His contract is valid until the end of 2029, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €500k.
