Brazilian central defender Derik Fernando da Silva, 24, has joined Arda on a three-year contract. The 195 cm player moves from the Portuguese club Varzim, which he joined in July 2025. The transfer followed his passing of mandatory medical and physical examinations. A former Brazil U16 and U17 international, da Silva immediately joined Arda's training camp in Borovets. In the 2025/2026 season for Varzim, he made 16 appearances in the domestic league, scoring 2 goals.
