According to 'Bild', Hertha BSC has identified German winger Deniz Zeitler from TSG Hoffenheim as its preferred candidate for the left wing. The 19-year-old U20 international is being targeted as the club seeks to reinvest the funds from the anticipated sale of Fabian Reese. Zeitler, who joined Hoffenheim in July 2025, scored 15 goals and provided two assists for the club's second team in the 3. Liga but has not yet made an appearance in the Bundesliga. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €4.00m.
