Pardubice are in negotiations with Slavia to sign 23-year-old Czech central defender Denis Halinský, prompted by a difficult start to their season. According to iSport.cz, the clubs disagree on the nature of the deal, with Pardubice wanting a permanent transfer while Slavia is currently only offering another loan. Halinský is reportedly open to returning to the club where he previously had a successful loan spell. The player's potential move is influenced by his frustration over a lack of playing time at Slavia this season. This situation arose after he extended his contract in the winter, following a very successful loan at Teplice, and then rejected serious interest from Millwall and clubs in Denmark during the summer because he believed he had a genuine chance to secure a place in the first team. He has 7 caps and 1 goal for the Czechia U21 national team. His current market value is listed at €2.00m by Transfermarkt.
