Los Angeles FC have announced a long-term contract extension for their 31-year-old winger Denis Bouanga through 2028, with an option to take the deal to the end of the 2029–30 campaign. The Gabonese international has 53 caps and 17 goals for his country. He has started the 2025/2026 Major League Soccer season with one goal and one assist in his first appearance. This extension follows recent transfer interest from clubs including Inter Miami and Fluminense. According to reports from February 2026, Los Angeles FC rejected an initial offer of approximately €11 million from Fluminense and a separate €12 million bid from Inter Miami, with the club's asking price reported to be around $15 million. Bouanga joined the club in August 2022. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €8.00m.
