According to the official website of the Californian franchise, Denis Bouanga has extended his contract with Los Angeles FC until 2028, with an option for the 2029-2030 season. Bouanga was reported to be a target for Inter Miami.

Inter Miami attempted to sign 31-year-old French-Gabonese attacker Denis Bouanga while also working to finalize a deal for Germán Berterame. The club proposed $13 million for the left winger, but Los Angeles FC immediately rejected the offer because the club does not want to sell him. Bouanga has no intention of leaving LAFC, although he does hope to secure a new contract as a key player. Bouanga's current deal extends until 2027, with an option for 2028. The Gabon international, who joined LAFC in August 2022, has scored 17 goals in 53 appearances for his country. His current market value is €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
