North Macedonian international Dejan Iliev, 31, has unilaterally terminated his contract with Rapid because of accumulated financial arrears at the club. Iliev is demanding 150,000 euros in compensation from Rapid. The dispute will move to sporting courts, according to sources close to the goalkeeper. According to those close to him, Iliev left the team without notifying anyone and denounced his contract. The goalkeeper joined the club on 16/01/2026, and his contract was scheduled to expire on 30/06/2027. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €350k.
