Piast Gliwice is searching for a replacement goalkeeper following a serious, long-term injury to their primary goalkeeper, František Plach. Piotr Kamieniecki of TVP Sport reported that 24-year-old Polish goalkeeper Dawid Arndt is one of several goalkeepers being considered by the club. Arndt currently has a fundamental role at his first-division club, Chrobry Głogów. It is considered unlikely that his employer would agree to a transfer at this time, particularly because the team is the league runner-up and has a chance for an unexpected promotion. Arndt joined the club in July 2024 and has made 24 league appearances this season. His contract is valid until June 2026, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €250k.
