According to information reported by Szymon Janczyk, Dawid Arndt is likely to become a new player for Arka Gdynia. The first-division club needed to sign a new goalkeeper because their current keepers, Damian Węglarz and Andrei Vlad, are both set to depart. Węglarz will join ŁKS Łódź, while Vlad's contract will not be extended. Arndt, a 24-year-old Polish goalkeeper who had a strong season with Chrobry Głogów, is expected to join on a free transfer despite having a contract with his current club until 30 June 2026. The duration of his potential contract with Arka Gdynia is not known. In the 2025/2026 season, Arndt made 32 appearances in the Betclic 1 Liga.
