Davide Calabria Transfer from Panathinaikos to Fiorentina

Davide Calabria has expressed a desire to return to Italy to play in Serie A, either now or in the upcoming summer. According to Italian media, Calabria has offered his services to several clubs in the Italian championship, including Fiorentina. The reports add that these clubs are seriously interested in the defender. Both Calabria and his agents are said to be seriously considering this move, while Panathinaikos is monitoring developments to decide its next steps. Panathinaikos does not intend to release Calabria for no fee, with the maximum amount the club could receive from a potential sale being 500,000 euros.

Panathinaikos right-back Davide Calabria, who is 29, is the subject of interest for the January transfer window. Fiorentina and Lazio are reportedly targeting the Italian player for a potential transfer to his home country. Calabria joined the Greek club last summer, signing a three-year contract for his first period playing outside of Italy. The defender has 7 caps for Italy and has made 10 appearances in the Super League 1 this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €4.50m.
