David Pejičić Transfer from Udinese to Maribor
Young Udinese talent David Pejičić has made his debut for Maribor, having returned to Slovenia on loan from the Serie A club.
David Pejicic, a Slovenian player born in 2007, is leaving Udinese on loan to Maribor. The move is official and will last until June 30, 2026. After joining Udinese in summer 2023 and playing in their youth team, he will now gain first-team experience at Maribor. The announcement was made by Udinese Calcio.
David Pejičić, an 18-year-old Slovenian U19 international and attacking midfielder currently playing for Udinese, is wanted by Maribor. Udinese is willing to let him go on loan, but Maribor is pushing to secure at least a buyout option as part of the loan deal. Negotiations between Maribor and Udinese have started. Pejičić is valued at 1 million euros, and his contract with the Italian club runs until June 30, 2028. Pejičić himself is open to returning to Slovenia for more first-team football, as his opportunities at Udinese are limited due to strong competition.
