Aston Villa are close to completing a deal for Barcelona's 20-year-old Ghanaian left-back David Oduro, who is set to initially join the club's Ligue 2 sister team, Annecy. The defender, who has one cap for Ghana, joined Barcelona Atlètic in August 2024 and made 10 league appearances in the 2025/2026 season. His contract with the Spanish club runs until June 2027, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €200k.
