In response to speculation about a potential return to Slovan Bratislava, 28-year-old Slovakian midfielder David Hrnčár stated that he has not been in contact with anyone regarding a move. The player, who is from Bratislava and a supporter of the club, confirmed he would be open to returning but added that he could not comment on the validity of the speculation. Hrnčár has one cap for Slovakia. He joined his current club, FCV Dender EH, in July 2024 and has a contract that runs until June 2027. His market value is currently €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
