David Carmo Transfer from Nottingham Forest to Real Oviedo

Oviedo is in the process of making the necessary financial adjustments to finalize a deal for David Carmo, which could be structured as a loan with an option to purchase at the end of the current season. David Carmo, who is under contract with Nottingham Forest until 2029, is expected to have a purchase option included in the loan agreement. The Portuguese-born, Angolan national, who is 1.96 meters tall, aligns with the defensive profile that Oviedo is looking to strengthen. He was previously acquired by Nottingham Forest for 11 million euros in 2024, after playing for clubs such as Benfica, Braga, Oporto, and Olympiacos. Oviedo's management is working on the financial aspects to ensure the deal complies with their salary cap, as they are also looking to sign a left-back and a striker. Should the deal be successful, Oviedo may consider selling one of their current central defenders, with Oier Luengo being a potential candidate due to interest from several second-division clubs.
