Dick Schreuder hopes that Darko Nejasmic will soon extend his contract. Nejasmic is a 27-year-old Croatian defensive midfield player. Schreuder stated that Nejasmic has been in discussions with the club for a long time. Schreuder also expressed his support for Nejasmic to stay for another year and for the club to secure a good transfer fee. Nejasmic's contract is until the summer of 2027. The former Croatia U21 international is valued at €4.00m by Transfermarkt. He joined the club in September 2025 and has recently been linked with Ajax.
