German centre-back Dario Gebuhr, 23, is leaving Hansa Rostock on the final day of the transfer window to join Regionalliga club Eintracht Trier on loan for the 2026/27 season. According to Trier's sporting director, Daniel Hammel, the club had already been interested in the defender during the winter and is pleased the transfer is now complete. Hammel said Gebuhr brings valuable experience and a professional attitude, and is expected to assume a leading role in the defence. Hansa's sporting director, Amir Shapourzadeh, explained that because the level of competition for places in central defence is currently high, the loan is a suitable move for Gebuhr. The move offers the player, who was on loan at Chemnitzer FC for the second half of the previous season, the chance to play regularly over a full season and take on a more significant role. His current Transfermarkt market value is €200k.
