Dario Gebuhr Transfer from Hansa Rostock to Chemnitzer FC

According to Kicker, CFC announced on Sunday the loan signing of 22-year-old central defender Dario Gebuhr from FC Hansa Rostock until the end of the season. At the third division club, Gebuhr made two substitute appearances in the current season after making 16 appearances last season. Chemnitz sports director Chris Löwe said that with Dario, they have signed not only an additional option for depth but also a player who can immediately help them athletically. Löwe added that due to the uncertain situation surrounding the return of Niclas Erlbeck and the injury of Aaron Mensah, it was clear to them that they needed to be active in the transfer market again for their defense. Hansa's Director of Professional Football, Amir Shapourzadeh, explained that Dario is a talented player who has been repeatedly set back by injuries in recent times. He also stated that they currently have very strong competition in defense, which limits his chances of playing a larger role. According to Shapourzadeh, the central defender is expected to return to Rostock strengthened in the summer.

Bild reports on the loan transfer of Dario Gebuhr from Hansa Rostock to Chemnitzer FC for the remainder of the season. Hansa Rostock has loaned 22-year-old German central defender Dario Gebuhr to Chemnitzer FC until the end of the season, with the player moving to the Regionalliga Nordost to gain regular match practice. Gebuhr joined Hansa from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2024; injuries hindered his breakthrough, and he made 22 appearances for the first team and six for the U23s. Hansa's sporting director, Amir Shapourzadeh, described the loan as an important step, noting that strong competition in Rostock's defense limited Gebuhr's chances. Shapourzadeh added that consistent playing time is important for the player's development and that the club expects him to return stronger after gaining valuable experience. Gebuhr, who has already joined Chemnitzer FC's training camp in Turkey, said the club's tradition and sporting ambitions facilitated his decision. CFC sporting director Chris Löwe stated that Gebuhr is not just a depth option but a player who can help immediately, highlighting his fitness, speed, and suitability for the team's offensive defending style. Gebuhr has a current market value of €200k, according to Transfermarkt, and has made two appearances in the 3. Liga and three in the NOFV-Oberliga Nord in the 2025/2026 season.
