Danylo Sikan may leave Trabzonspor during the winter transfer window, according to a report from the publication Fotospor. Head coach Fatih Tekke is said to be disappointed with the 24-year-old's performance and lack of progress. Having reportedly lost the competition for the central striker position, the Ukrainian will be given a chance to play on the flanks of the attack. If the forward does not improve in this new role, the Turkish club intends to put him up for transfer. The source suggests that Shakhtar Donetsk is the main contender to sign Sikan, who they sold to the Turkish league for six million euros in January 2025. Should he fail to prove himself, it is expected he will return to the Premier League in January. Sikan's contract with the Turkish club is valid until June 2029, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €6 million.
