Vorskla Poltava invited 19-year-old Ukrainian defensive midfielder Daniil Ishchenko, whose contract is with Dynamo Kyiv, for a trial. Vorskla Poltava is currently unable to register new players because of a transfer ban. According to interim coach Valeriy Kutsenko, the club's management allowed players they wanted to see to come for a trial. Ishchenko's contract with the Kyiv club is valid until June 2029. The Ukraine U19 international has made 14 appearances in the U19 Premier Liga in the 2025/2026 season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
