Polissya Zhytomyr's Ukrainian centre-back Danylo Beskorovaynyi has joined Azerbaijani club Sumgait on a six-month loan. The 26-year-old player was allowed to leave as he is not part of head coach Ruslan Rotan's plans. Ordabasy from Kazakhstan was also interested in the defender, but he ultimately chose the team from Azerbaijan. Beskorovaynyi passed a medical examination on January 22 and is expected to join his new team, which is currently fifth in their league, in the near future. The player, a former Ukraine U20 international with 9 appearances, joined Polissya in July 2024 and has a contract with the club until June 2027.
