Former Telstar captain Danny Bakker, a 31-year-old Dutch defender whose contract had recently expired, is set to join South Korean club FC Anyang. The defender had expressed a desire to play for a foreign club. Indonesian club Bali United made an unsuccessful last-minute attempt to sign the player, as Bakker has already signed a contract with the K-League side. Bakker, who has been capped three times for the Netherlands U21 team, has a current market value of €450k according to Transfermarkt.
