A source had previously reported interest from Zenit in 23-year-old Russian full-back Daniil Denisov. Metaratings has since reported that Spartak has reached an agreement with the player for a new long-term contract. Denisov's existing agreement was due to run until the summer of 2026. He joined Spartak in July 2022 and has made 17 appearances in the Premier Liga this season. The defender has one cap for Russia. His current Transfermarkt market value is €4.00m.
