It is reported that in addition to Casertana, Cittadella, Spezia, and two other Serie B clubs are monitoring the player. Ciappellano joined Alcione in August 2022, and during the 2025/2026 Serie C - Girone A season, he made 32 appearances and scored 2 goals. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €150k.
