Inter is considering the Swedish right-back Daniel Svensson, who has become a key player for Borussia Dortmund under Niko Kovac. According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund could begin negotiations if significant offers are made, with the minimum amount the club would be willing to negotiate for starting at 30 million euros. Ausilio is closely monitoring Daniel Svensson but was unable to see him play in the last Champions League match as a result of Svensson's suspension.

Dortmund have set an asking price of €30 million (£26m, $35.4m) for the player, and that there is a 30 per cent chance he will leave the Bundesliga club in the summer of 2026. Svensson, who has been capped 9 times by Sweden, joined Dortmund from Nordsjælland in July 2025 for a reported fee of €6.5 million and his contract is valid until 2029. In the current Bundesliga season, he has made 20 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
