FC Dallas has an agreement to acquire 32-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Daniel from the San Jose Earthquakes. The trade is contingent on San Jose finalizing a deal for goalkeeper Angus Gunn, who is a free agent. According to sources, the club is close to signing Gunn. Daniel joined the Earthquakes in January 2023 and has made 15 appearances in Major League Soccer in the 2025/2026 season. His contract is set to expire at the end of 2026 and he has a current Transfermarkt market value of €800k.
