Daniel Peretz Transfer from FC Bayern München to Genoa
Genoa is very close to securing Daniel Peretz. According to Fabrizio Romano, the club is in advanced negotiations with Bayern Monaco for the goalkeeper born in 2000. The club has sent an offer to Bayern for a loan with an option to buy, which has been accepted, allowing Genoa to secure the 24-year-old player, who will turn 25 in two days.
Tuttomercato reports on Genoa's interest in acquiring Bayern Monaco's goalkeeper, Daniel Peretz, for the next season. Daniel Peretz, currently with Bayern Monaco and under contract until 2028, is being considered by Genoa for the next season. Although he has made only five appearances for Bayern's first team this season, he is the starting goalkeeper for the Israeli national team, with six caps since 2022. Genoa is interested in acquiring him due to the presence of experienced goalkeepers Neuer and Ulreich, as well as young Jonas Hurbig at Bayern, which might facilitate his move.
Genoa has been engaged in discussions with Bayern Munich regarding a potential loan deal for Daniel Peretz. Nevertheless, PSV Eindhoven is currently in the lead to secure the loan. Peretz, who transferred to Bayern Munich from Maccabi Tel Aviv for 5 million euros in 2023, is looking for a loan move to accumulate playing experience and pursue his ambition of becoming Bayern's first-choice goalkeeper. Despite interest from Genoa and other clubs such as Burnley and Leeds, PSV Eindhoven appears particularly appealing to Peretz because of the prospect of playing as the main goalkeeper and acquiring international experience, possibly even in the Champions League.
