Bild has reported that Fortuna Düsseldorf is interested in signing Daniel Kyerewaa. The club sees a familial advantage in pursuing Kyerewaa, as he is originally from Düsseldorf and his family still resides there. Kyerewaa's impressive performances towards the end of the season have caught the club's attention. The 23-year-old offensive dribbler, noted for his agility and close ball control, had initially struggled to secure playing time under former coach Sascha Hildmann, often being relegated to a substitute role or excluded from the squad. However, under the interim coaching trio, he capitalized on his opportunities by scoring and assisting in a 5-0 victory against Magdeburg and scoring a crucial goal in a 2-2 draw against SSV Ulm. These performances were observed by scouts from both Ruhrpott clubs and Fortuna. With his contract at Preußen Münster expiring on June 30, 2025, and no new agreement in place, Fortuna Düsseldorf, given their familial ties to Kyerewaa and his strong performances, are considered strong contenders to secure his signature.
