Daniel Bameyi, a 19-year-old Nigerian defender, became a member of Primorje several weeks ago, transferring directly from the Nigerian league. Bameyi is currently the captain of the Nigeria U-20 national team and is participating in the U-20 World Cup in Chile. He has played the maximum number of minutes in the two matches Nigeria has played so far. In one of those games, he scored the winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Saudi Arabia and was also selected as the man of the match.
