Tuttomercato has reported that Damiano Cancellieri is set to join Salernitana on a permanent transfer. The Italian left-back, who was born in 2001, is making a move to Salernitana, which competes in Serie C. Cancellieri is departing from Avellino a year before his contract ends, after having played 22 matches and scoring one goal last season, which helped the team achieve promotion. Despite having two years left on his contract with Avellino, Cancellieri is leaving as part of a double defensive exit, alongside fellow player Paolo Frascatore. This transfer marks Cancellieri's second stint away from Avellino, following a previous six-month loan to Triestina. Transfermarkt lists his market value as €75,000.
