Damian Szymański Transfer from AEK Athens to Legia Warszawa
Damian Szymański is reportedly set to leave AEK Athens as the new coach does not include him in future plans, with the possibility of terminating his contract. Michał Żewłakow, Legia Warszawa's sporting director, indicated interest in such a proposal, despite Szymański having around two years remaining on his contract with AEK Athens. Żewłakow noted that although Szymański has not officially left, his high-level performance over several seasons has led to call-ups to the national team. The potential transfer is viewed as a chance to bolster Legia's midfield, particularly with Maxi Oyedele's expected departure and the club's goals to win the national championship and advance significantly in European competitions.
