Damian Rasak leaving Újpest?
GKS Katowice officially announced that Damian Rasak has joined the club from Hungarian club Újpest on a loan deal until the end of 2026. Rasak had been at Újpest for over a year, having joined them in the middle of the previous season from Górnik Zabrze.
Damian Rasak, a 30-year-old Polish midfielder, could leave Újpest. The coaching staff has indicated to Rasak that he would receive less playing time in the spring season, and as a result, he and his agent are currently working to find a suitable team for him, most likely on a loan basis. According to media reports, Újpest are working on loaning Damian Rasak. The defensive midfielder, who joined the club in January 2025, has made 18 appearances in the domestic league this season and has been linked with Korona Kielce. His contract with Újpest is valid until June 2027, his current Transfermarkt market value is €700k, and he has one cap for the Poland U21 national team.
