In an interview with TVP Sport, Michalski stated that the conditions offered by Motor Lublin did not meet his expectations, leading him to opt for remaining abroad following a successful season in Germany. His goal was to keep competing for a place in the first team. Eventually, Michalski signed with Zagłębie Lubin, where he has already participated in five matches and netted one goal.
